Treacle Tart


A Combination of the Good Granny Recipe book and HMW.
  1. Make a pastry case (using the recipe here).
  2. Blind bake.
  3. Put a mixture of breadcrumbs and golden syrup in the tart (and some lemon juice next time round)
  4. 120g+140g breadcrumbs, 454g+80g syrup, 2tbsp lemon juice, generous pinch ground ginger. Was too much breadcrumbs. Maybe try 200g?
  5. Cook
  6. Eat
