Microwave chocolate pudding (lighter)
Ingredients
Soft Brown Sugar | 4 oz |
Vanilla Essence | 1 tsp |
Milk | 4 tbsp |
Egg | 1 (beaten) |
Butter/margarine | 2 oz |
Cocoa Powder | 2 oz |
Salt | pinch |
Caster Sugar | 4 oz |
Self-raising Flour | 4 oz |
Hot Water | quarter pint |
Melt 50g butter on high for 30 seconds.
Place 100g self-raising flour, 100g caster sugar, pinch salt and 25g cocoa into a microwaveable mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter to flour, along with a beaten egg, 5g vanilla essence and 60ml milk. Beat well, then flatten the top and clean down the edges of the mixing bowl.
Mix together 100g soft brown sugar and 25g cocoa and sprinkle over top of mixture. Pour over hot water until covered.
Cook on high power for 5-6 mins or until set on top.
